Plant Paddles

We took one look at Innabah’s stunning stretch of waterfront along French Creek and knew we were going to offer plant paddles! Enjoy a leisurely, self-led paddle along a serene stretch of waterway. Take in the flora growing along the stream edges, & maybe share space with some wildlife! Several plant paddle sessions will be offered throughout the weekend, please sign up in the tea room. Life jackets will be provided & are required to be worn.

Walk The labyrinth

Our venue, Innabah, has a beautiful labyrinth! Do make time to visit this very special addition.

Hammock village

Okay so we’re not sure if lounging in a hammock meets the definition of “activity”, but it sure is peaceful. Our wonderful venue has a hammock village nestled in the woods above the creek. Bring your hammock if ya have one! This is a perfect spot to reflect & relax.

Meet the Authors

We’re blessed to have authors teaching at the Black Walnut. Meet the authors in person at the Botanical Market & have your books signed. And while you’re there—shop for handcrafted, botanical goodness!

Tincture/Elixir Contest

Inspired by the infamous “Cordial Contest” at the fabulous NEWHC, we are holding a tincture/elixir contest! Contest rules: bring your handcrafted tincture or elixir, name & label your product & include ingredients on the label. Do not put your name or identifying information on the bottle - judges will be doing a “blind” tasting! Drop off your tincture or elixir at the registration/info table where it will be assigned a number. Judging will take place during Saturday Free Thyme, & winners will be announced Saturday evening.

Prizes for 1st & 2nd place will be given!
